Oren Markovitz, Ph.D., boasts extensive experience in technology and engineering, currently serving as Chief Architect for Performance Network Security at Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. since July 2018, while also pursuing a part-time PhD. Previously, Oren held key positions at Gilat from 2007 to 2018, including Chief Engineer in the CTO office and Director of Consumer Products. Additional experience includes serving as part-time CTO at 3M - Attenti in 2017, Site Software Development Manager at Infineon from 2005 to 2007, and Software Manager at RADVISION from 2003 to 2005. Earlier roles include VP of R&D at SeRIQA and R&D Director at radguard, with an early career as a C-Frati Course Commander at Baad Sheba. Oren obtained a PhD in Computer and Communication Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and holds an MSc in Mathematics & Computer Science and a BA in Computer Science and Business from Tel Aviv University.
