Madhumita B. has a diverse work experience. Madhumita currently works at Check as a Risk Operations professional. In their previous role at Digit, they were involved in fraud operations, analyzing customer deposits and providing expertise on risky customer behavior. Madhumita also led fraud investigations and resolved escalated issues. Prior to that, Madhumita worked at Stripe where they focused on risk operations and fraud prevention. Madhumita identified fraudulent behavior, implemented process improvements, and led workflow content and training for external partners. Madhumita also operationalized a manual labeling program for Stripe's fraud prevention service. Madhumita has also had internships at Cumbria Capital, LLC and RetailWins, where they conducted research and generated reports for clients. In addition to their work experience, Madhumita has been involved in various student organizations, such as UW Women in Economics and the Husky Leadership Initiative, where they extended outreach, organized events, and served as a peer leadership adviser. Madhumita has also worked as a First Year Interest Group Leader at the University of Washington and as a Housing Ambassador for Housing and Food Services. As a student volunteer at the Samuel E.
