James Owusu

James Owusu is the founder of Checkboard, a company they started in July 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Barclays Wealth Management as a Private Banking Executive from September 2017 to January 2021. Before joining Barclays, they worked at NatWest Group as a Mortgage Advisor from January 2015 to August 2017 and as a Direct/Private Banking Associate from November 2013 to January 2015.

James Owusu began their education at Woodhouse College (formerly known as Woodhouse Grammar School) from 2009 to 2011. During this time, no degree or specific field of study was mentioned. James then continued their education at Loughborough University from 2011 to 2013, majoring in Chemical Engineering.

In addition to their academic achievements, James Owusu obtained the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) in November 2016. James also obtained the CeMAP certification from The London Institute of Banking & Finance in January 2015.
