Michelle Liebheit

Michelle Liebheit has 8 years of work experience, beginning in 2010 when they were a Teaching Assistant for Internationale Jugendgemeinschaftsdienste (ijgd) Bundesverein e.V. In 2016, they were a Research Assistant at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Virtual Assistant, Content Manager, Tour Guide & Web/Media Support (contract employee), and Frontend Web Developer at Michelle Liebheit - Your Virtual Assistant in Japan, Travel Hokkaido, GOYOH, and Felix Japan, respectively. In 2020, they took a sabbatical to move back from Japan to Germany and enrolled in a 9-week programming bootcamp at Ironhack. Currently, they are a Frontend Developer and Frontend Developer Intern at Checkly.

Michelle Liebheit has an extensive education history. Michelle obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Area Studies from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin between 2011 and 2015. Michelle then participated in a university exchange programme at Ritsumeikan University, studying Japanese Studies from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they obtained a Master of Arts in Japanese Studies from the Freie Universität Berlin, which they completed in 2018. In 2019, Michelle Liebheit completed a Responsive Web Design course from freeCodeCamp and also studied with The Interaction Design Foundation. In 2021, they obtained a Fullstack Web Development certification from Ironhack. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Udacity (Google Developer Challenge Scholarship in 2017) and freeCodeCamp (Responsive Web Design in 2019).
