Ângela Sofia Morais Gonçalves

Ângela Sofia Morais Gonçalves has gained several years of work experience in the field of application security. Ângela Sofia started their career as an intern at TecMinho in 2017, where they worked as a research collaborator for two months. In 2019, they completed an internship at Yari Labs for six months. After that, they joined Checkmarx in 2020 and held multiple roles within the company. Ângela Sofia first served as an intern for four months before being promoted to a junior application security engineer. In 2022, they became a full-fledged application security engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Application Security Team Lead at Checkmarx.

Ângela Sofia Morais Gonçalves completed their education at Universidade do Minho, where they pursued a Mestrado in Informática Médica from 2014 to 2020. Their field of study focused on the intersection of Informatics and Health. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Agile Project Management with Jira Cloud: 2 Lean and Agile Processes from LinkedIn in March 2023.
