Jann Yip

Jann Yip has extensive experience in the marketing and communications field, with a strong focus on technology companies. Jann is currently working as the Regional Marketing Director at Checkmarx, where they hold a leadership role in overseeing marketing strategies and initiatives. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at BBM from August 2016 to February 2019.

Jann Yip also has a significant history with SAP, starting as the Senior Marketing Manager for the APJ region from August 2011 to December 2014. Jann then took on the role of Director of Global Marketing for SAP Mobile Services, where they developed and executed global marketing strategies and led demand generation campaigns.

Before their time at SAP, Jann Yip worked as the Marketing Manager for APJ at Mobile 365/Sybase 365 from July 2006 to July 2011. In this role, they managed the execution of localized creative materials and collaborated with the wider marketing team on various projects.

Jann Yip's career started at Asian Publicis in July 2004, where they served as the Director and helped set up the PR practice for the infocomms industry. Jann expanded the practice's portfolio to include lifestyle and entertainment clients.

Jann began their career at EASTWEST - PR and Digital Services as a Senior Associate from December 1999 to May 2004. During their time there, they provided strategic counseling to senior management and managed junior associates for client execution. Jann Yip worked with various high-profile clients in the IT, telecommunications, financial services, and healthcare industries.

Jann Yip's education history includes a Diploma in Business Studies from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, which was completed from 1994 to 1997. Following this, from 1998 to 2000, Jann Yip pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a double major in Marketing and Public Relations from Curtin University.
