Maria Alejandra Mejia-Cruz has had a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Maria Alejandra started their career at Accenture in 2018 as a Customer Success Manager, where they were responsible for ensuring the satisfaction and success of clients. In August 2019, they transitioned to the role of Inside Opportunity Manager at Accenture, where they focused on generating new business opportunities.

In January 2020, Maria joined Checkmarx as a Sr. Sales Development Representative. At Checkmarx, they played a crucial role in helping major enterprises enhance the security of their software and reduce development costs. Maria Alejandra utilized Checkmarx's unique source code analysis solution, CxSAST, to identify and resolve technical and logical flaws in the source code, such as security vulnerabilities and compliance issues.

Maria's excellent performance and leadership skills led their to be promoted to the role of SDR Team Leader in January 2022. In this position, they supervised and mentored a team of Sales Development Representatives, ensuring the efficient operation of the team and the achievement of sales goals.

Currently, Maria serves as the Americas SDR Team Manager at Checkmarx, a position they have held since September 2022. In this role, they oversee the SDR team's operations in the Americas region, utilizing their expertise in sales development to drive success within their team.
