Roman Maerov

Roman Maerov has extensive work experience in the field of Quality Assurance (QA). Roman started their career at Connect-TV in 2004 as a QA Team member, where they served as a Software Tester and Content Manager until 2007. Roman then worked at TESNET as a QA Engineer from 2007 to 2012. Following that, they joined Discount Bank as a QA Engineer from 2012 to 2016. Roman then worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a QA Engineer from 2016 to 2017. Currently, they are working at Checkmarx, where they started as a QA Engineer in 2017 and later took on the roles of Performance QA Engineer and Scrum Master since April 2019.

Roman Maerov completed their Bachelor's degree from Tel Aviv University from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended The Hebrew University in 1999 and 2000, though it is unclear if they obtained a degree or studied a specific field. In terms of certifications, Roman obtained the Foundation Certificate in Software Testing from ITCB - Israeli Testing Certification Board in November 2007. Later, they pursued various additional certifications, including "PostgreSQL Dev Focus Course" and "ELK Course- Elastic Search and Kibana" from Checkmarx in October and September 2022 respectively. Roman also completed "Architecting on AWS" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021 and "Azure Fundamentals" from Sela Group in the same month and year.
