Elliot Rampono

Elliot Rampono has a diverse work experience. Elliot began their career in 2018 as a Software Engineer at Kelvin Inc. Later that year, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer for a Private Contractor, where they were part of a small team that developed an ensemble of deep-learning models that were responsible for predicting different forms of hand-arthritis based on non-homogeneous data (images and tabular data). This work was later published in the Internal Medicine Journal. Elliot also worked as a Data Science Intern at Worley Parsons Resources and Engineering Private Limited in 2018. In 2021, Elliot joined DataRobot as a Data Scientist. Most recently, in 2022, they became Co-founder & Chief Engineering Officer at Checkmate Savings.

Elliot Rampono attended The University of Western Australia from 2013 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics & Statistics. Elliot then returned to The University of Western Australia from 2017 to 2018 and earned a Master of Data Science.
