Rory Garton-Smith

Rory Garton-Smith has worked for a number of companies since 2014. Rory began their career at Sony Music Entertainment as a Music Producer in 2014. In 2018, they held internships at WorleyParsons as a Global Strategy Winter Intern and at Deloitte as an Analyst Summer Intern. Rory also worked as a Software Engineer / Machine Learning Researcher at PATHWEST LABORATORY MEDICINE WA that same year. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at Kelvin Inc. and as an Engineer at VGW. In 2020, they were an Engineering Project Manager at Apple. Currently, they are a Co-Founder & CTO at Checkmate, where they work on an automatic savings app for iPhones.

Rory Garton-Smith attended The University of Western Australia. Rory also holds a Canadian Association of Snowboarding Instructors CERT from CASI-ACMS.
