Ali Hussain has extensive experience in the field of credit underwriting, currently serving as Director of International Underwriting at Checkout.com since June 2021, where responsibilities include leading UK and EEA Merchant Underwriting with a focus on Credit Risk, Loss Exposure, Fraud, and Compliance. Previously, Ali held the position of Global Credit Underwriting Manager at Worldpay from September 2014 to June 2021, overseeing Large Corporate Credit Underwriting and managing teams across various time zones. Ali also has a background in enterprise underwriting, having built and led the Enterprise Merchant Underwriting team at Checkout.com, and possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from City St George’s, University of London, as well as specialized training in Credit Management from the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.
