Christiane Richards

Christiane Richards has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various companies and roles. Christiane is currently working as a Product Director - Merchant Experience at Checkout.com since August 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Product Management - Customer Solutions at DKB | Deutsche Kreditbank AG from July 2020 to August 2022, where they also worked as a Senior Consultant from March 2020 to June 2020.

Christiane has also worked at Step Innovation Hub as a Senior Consultant from November 2019 to February 2020. In 2019, they served as the CPO - Chief Product Officer at Vivy, where they managed a division and played a crucial role in implementing company-wide product roadmap strategies.

From 2017 to 2019, Christiane worked at Lab1886, initially as a Lead Product Manager and later as the Head of Product. In these roles, they led cross-functional teams, managed staff, and oversaw the development and launch of innovative projects.

Before Lab1886, Christiane worked at PayPal from 2009 to 2017 in various senior product management roles. Christiane was responsible for developing global product strategies, leading product launches, and implementing solutions to improve customer experience and reduce transaction losses.

Christiane Richards completed their undergraduate degree in English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL at Harvard University in 2001. From 2002 to 2005, they attended Technische Universität Ilmenau and obtained an Intermediate Examination in Media Economics. Christiane then pursued a Diplom degree in Business Management at Leipzig University from 2005 to 2009. In 2016 and 2017, Christiane Richards acquired a Green Belt Lean Six Sigma certification in Operational Excellence from Global Lean Sigma L.L.C.
