Cyril Chemla

Cyril Chemla has a diverse work experience. Cyril started their career in 2015 as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant at École pour l'Informatique et les Techniques Avancées. In the same year, they also co-founded and served as the CEO of ProcessOut, a company that helps SaaS and e-commerce businesses optimize their payments. Cyril held this position until January 2022.

In 2017, they became a Mentor at Techstars, where they provided guidance and support to startups in the program.

In February 2020, Cyril joined Checkout.com as the VP of Commercial Development and Strategic Accounts. Cyril focused on ensuring a smooth transition for existing ProcessOut customers following the acquisition by Checkout.com and establishing Checkout.com as a preferred partner for global merchants in the payments industry.

Cyril's most recent position is as a Scout at Sequoia Capital, which they started in July 2022. Overall, Cyril has demonstrated expertise in the payments industry, with experience in strategic partnerships, mentoring startups, and venture capital scouting.

From 2013 to 2018, Cyril Chemla attended EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science.
