Regis Duhirwe

Regis Duhirwe has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Regis began their career in 2007 as a Software Engineer at Helvar Ltd, where they worked until 2010. Then, from 2011 to 2013, they worked as an Analyst Programmer at SFW Ltd. Following that, they joined Dollar Financial Group as a Software Developer from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, Regis joined Zopa as a Senior Software Developer, a position they held until 2019. Currently, Regis is working at Checkout.com, initially as a Senior Software Engineer from 2019 to 2021, and now as an Engineering Manager since February 2021.

Regis Duhirwe pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. From 2004 to 2007, they attended the University of Essex, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, specifically a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Regis also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In September 2016, they received the MCSA: Web Applications certification from Microsoft. In August 2016, they obtained the Data Modeling Badge from Salesforce Trailhead. Furthermore, in June 2013, they acquired the Developing Microsoft Azure and Web Services certification, again from Microsoft.
