Tyran Elgar

Tyran Elgar has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Tyran is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Checkout.com since May 2022. Prior to this, Tyran held the position of Director of Engineering at Improbable from October 2021 to May 2022. Tyran also worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at Improbable from May 2018 to May 2022.

Before joining Improbable, Tyran was employed at Sporting Group starting from December 2009. During their tenure at Sporting Group, they held various roles including Head of Software Development from October 2015 to May 2018, Engineering Manager from March 2014 to October 2015, and Principal Software Engineer from December 2009 to March 2014.

Prior to their employment at Sporting Group, Tyran worked as a Lead Developer at Autotorq.com from January 2007 to December 2009. Tyran'searlier work experience includes a role as a .NET Developer at New Clicks South Africa from July 2005 to December 2006.

Tyran Elgar attended the Cape Peninsula University of Technology from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a diploma (ND) in Information Technology.
