Gio Granato

Gio Granato is a Senior Director of Data, ML & AI at Checkr, Inc., focusing on developing a data platform to facilitate safe and fair hiring decisions. In addition to this role, Gio serves as a mentor for American Corporate Partners (ACP) and is a board member at Caminar, Inc. Previous experience includes a position as Director of Data Science at Rippling, Data Science in Ads & Monetization at Meta, and Ads Revenue StratOps and Analytics at Google. Gio has also worked as an Engagement Manager at A.T. Kearney, a Senior Analyst at Diverseo, and an R&D Engineer at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi. Gio holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and multiple master’s degrees in Robotics and Space Engineering, Automation, and a BS in Physics from prestigious institutions including École Polytechnique and USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
