Jason Martinez

Jason Martinez has a diverse work experience in the field of database management and architecture. Jason is currently working as a Sr Database Reliability Engineer at Checkr, Inc. Since 2019, they have also served as the Founder & Principal Architect of Irresistible Verb, LTD. Prior to that, Jason worked at Maximus where they held various roles including Principal Architect, Senior Database Architect, Sr Database Administrator, and Database Administrator. Jason founded Mind Mountain Software in 2009 and worked as the Founder until 2011. Jason also worked at Policy Studies as a DBA from 2009 to 2010. Earlier in their career, they worked at Perficient as a Sr. Consultant and at Virpie and Level 3 Communications as a Contractor. Jason started their career at Echostar Satellite LLC and Echostar as an IT Supervisor/Developer II and Developer II respectively.

Jason Martinez obtained a Certificate in Database Administration from the University of Denver from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Colorado Boulder from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Jason has obtained several certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020, and Certified SAFe® 5 DevOps Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2021.
