Kristian Pham has a diverse work experience. In their most recent role as a Product Designer at Checkr, Inc., they are focused on building a fairer future by changing the reputation of background checks. Prior to this, they worked at American Honda Motor Company, Inc. as a Product Designer, collaborating with Honda to explore user interactions in autonomously driven vehicles. Kristian also worked at the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) as a Graphic Designer, where they contributed to the acceleration of the transition to a sustainable world powered by clean energy. In addition, they gained experience as a Graphic Design Intern at BC DESIGN HAUS and as a Student Graphic Designer at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. Earlier in their career, they had various roles at Nordstrom, including Apparel Salesperson, Studio Services, Service Experience, and Retail Management Intern. Kristian also worked at Gap Inc./ Banana Republic as an Acting Assistant Manager and Brand Ambassador. These experiences have provided Kristian with a diverse skill set and a strong foundation in design and customer service.

Kristian Pham began their education journey at San Joaquin Delta College, where they pursued an Associate's Degree in Social & Behavioral Sciences from 2012 to 2015. Following this, they attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2015 to 2018, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree with a focus on Graphic Design. In 2021, Kristian Pham enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University to pursue a Master of Human-Computer Interaction degree, which they completed in 2022.
