Dr. Luisa Müller-Wittmann

Dr. Luisa Müller-Wittmann has an extensive work experience in the insurance and insurtech industries. Dr. Luisa is currently serving as the CEO - Managing Director & Co-Founder of Checkturio, a trusted vehicle checks company. Prior to this, they worked as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Antler. Dr. Müller-Wittmann also co-founded and served as the CPO - Managing Director of insureQ, a digital insurer for SMEs, Freelancers, and Start-ups. Dr. Luisa was also a co-founder of vertafin, an insurtech startup, where they held executive roles in business case calculations and product development efforts.

Before entering the startup world, Dr. Müller-Wittmann gained valuable experience at Allianz, where they served as the Head Of Product Development at Allianz Private Krankenversicherungs-AG. Dr. Luisa implemented agile techniques and collaborated with clients for innovative product development and launching within the health insurance sector. Dr. Luisa also held senior project management roles at Allianz Versicherungs-AG and Allianz SE, where they supervised and led various projects related to P&C retail insurance, distribution, claims, and post-merger integration.

Prior to joining Allianz, Dr. Müller-Wittmann worked as a Project Manager at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Dr. Luisa implemented post-merger integration strategies for a German insurance company and spearheaded technical projects related to health insurance and lean management for a German health insurance company and retail bank, respectively.

Dr. Luisa Müller-Wittmann's education history begins with their high school diploma, which they obtained from the Englisches Institut Heidelberg between 1996 and 2000. Their field of study during this time focused on French and German.

Dr. Luisa then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, specializing in Banking & Finance and Taxation. This degree was earned between 2001 and 2005.

In 2003, Dr. Müller-Wittmann attended Chulalongkorn University, where they obtained another MBA degree. However, no specific field of study is provided for this degree.

Moving forward, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree (Dr. rer. pol.) at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2009 to 2011. Their field of study during this time focused on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law.
