Andrew Abiaad

Andrew Abiaad is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and business development within the insurance sector, currently serving as Portfolio Manager and Associate Manager at Chedid Re since November 2020. With a strong background in managing high-value insurance for construction projects across the Middle East and Africa, Andrew has also engaged in market intelligence for key regional markets. Prior experience includes a role as Credit Controller at Nasco Insurance Group, handling debt management and reconciliation, and an Area Manager position at MapInfo Lebanon, where responsibilities included labor supervision and GIS data collection. Additionally, Andrew has experience as a Structural Design Engineer at Dar, contributing to the design of the Dubai airport and various structural projects.
