Henry Franklin

Henry Franklin has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Henry started their career as a Business Strategy Team member at Atkins Defense in 2010, followed by roles as a Manufacturing Engineer and Mechancial Design & Analysis Team member in the same company. In 2012, they had a secondment at Atkins Defense: Rolls-Royce Marine Power, where they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer.

From 2012 to 2014, Franklin worked at Atkins as a Contract Project Manager, responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing various work streams. Henry also had a role as a Senior Research Engineer at MTC - Manufacturing Technology Centre from 2018 to 2020, working on the Construction Innovation Hub project.

In 2017, they joined DB Building Management as an Operations Manager and Chartered Mechanical Engineer, where they established a second office in Melbourne and generated a supply of work for the company. Franklin then became a Roosevelt Scholar at the Nottingham Roosevelt Travelling Scholarship from 2019 to 2020.

Henry'smost recent experience is as a Project Engineer at Cheesecake Energy Ltd, starting in 2020. In this role, they are responsible for developing a Compressed Air Energy Storage System and managing the engineering plan, supplier onboarding, and prototype delivery.

Henry Franklin earned a 1st Class Masters Degree with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Prior to their university education, Henry attended Kenilworth School, but no specific degree or field of study is provided.
