Paulo Pordeus

Paulo Pordeus is a Product Manager at Cheesecake Labs. Paulo has over 7 years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on product management, customer success, and business analysis.

Paulo started their career as a Business Analyst at Grupo de Redes de Computadores, Engenharia de Software e Sistemas (GREat), where they spent 2 years working on various software and system development projects. Paulo then transitioned to Way2 Technology, where they spent 5 years in various product management roles. Paulo was first a Product Owner for 1 year, before being promoted to Customer Success Coordinator. In this role, Paulo was responsible for defining the overall vision and strategic plan for the Customer Success Team, focusing on driving product adoption, positive customer experience, and growth through gross renewals and net retention. Paulo also worked closely with other teams to optimize customer lifecycle, reduce churn, and improve customer advocacy.

As leader of the team, Paulo was also responsible for mentoring the team members, helping them both in the definition of the best strategies to be implemented within their portfolios and through the assessment of their performance. Paulo provided useful and frequent feedback to help them to achieve their goals and develop their careers.

In September 2019, Paulo left Way2 Technology to join Cheesecake Labs as a Product Manager. In this role, they are responsible for managing the development and launch of new products and features, as well as overseeing the ongoing maintenance and improvements of existing products. Paulo is passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems and improve people’s lives.

Paulo Pordeus studied software engineering at FA7 - Faculdade Sete de Setembro and obtained a specialization in software engineering. Paulo then went on to study computer science at the Federal University of Ceará and obtained a bachelor's degree in information systems. Pordeus also has two professional certifications, one from Scrum.org in professional scrum master and another from IREB GmbH in professional requirements engineer.

Paulo Pordeus reports to Guilherme Hayashi, Chief of Product. They are on a team with Fabricius Zatti - Project Manager, Bruno Oliveira - Project Manager, and Luiz Trevisan - Project Manager.
