Rakesh Balakrishnan

Rakesh Balakrishnan is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Chegg Inc. since April 2023, Rakesh previously held senior and software engineering roles at ENGINE Media Exchange from June 2017 to March 2023, where contributions included the design and development of ad tech products, focusing on Header Bidding and RTB Auctions. Rakesh began the professional journey at Aricent, first as a Software Engineer Intern in 2014 and later as a Software Engineer until July 2016, participating in projects that enhanced corporate effectiveness through innovative solutions. Rakesh holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (2010-2014).
