Subhisha Raj is a doctoral student in microbiology at the Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur, currently completing their PhD focused on the impact of specific stress on microalgae and their industrially important metabolites. They hold an integrated BS-MS dual degree in biological sciences from IISER Bhopal, where they worked on a final year project in metagenomics. Subhisha has four publications, including three review papers and one book chapter, and has qualified for the CSIR NET JRF and GATE - Ecology and Evolution. Alongside their research, Subhisha also serves as a subject matter expert for Chegg Inc. and Course Hero, and is interested in teaching.
