Iya Parungao

Iya Parungao has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Iya is currently working as a Senior Art Director at Cheil Germany GmbH since May 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at MullenLowe TREYNA from October 2019 to April 2022, with a brief period as an Art Director from June 2018 to September 2019. Iya also worked as an Art Director at MullenLowe Open from May 2017 to October 2018, and as a Junior Art Director from January 2016 to April 2017. Additionally, they have been a Graphic Designer at Voyager Innovations Inc. from October 2015 to January 2016. Iya gained early experience through internships at PC&V Communications, Inc. and McCann Worldgroup in 2014. Furthermore, they worked as a Freelance English Tutor at Kyungpook National University from April 2013 to June 2013. Iya also had an internship at Korea Exhibition Organizers Association from March 2013 to May 2013, where they assisted in the preparation of presentation materials, provided creative execution for merchandising materials, and designed layouts for events. In their early career, they served as the Chairperson of the Sangguniang Kabataan Concepcion Dos from November 2007 to December 2010, and also worked as a Junior Facilitator at FranklinCovey Philippines from April 2008 to August 2010, where they facilitated activities and gave talks on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens.

Iya Parungao pursued their education in the field of Design and Visual Communications, General. From 2010 to 2015, they attended the University of the Philippines, where they completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. Additionally, in 2012 and 2013, they enrolled at Kyungpook National University to further expand their knowledge and skills in the same field.
