Ian Fitzgerald

Ian Fitzgerald, MBA, MSc, currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Chelan County PUD, where a notable Agile Digital Transformation initiative resulted in a 165% increase in productivity and enhanced key utility technology capabilities. Previously, Ian held the position of Chief Information Officer at Truckee Donner Public Utility District for over 20 years, leading the adoption of advanced technologies in GIS, automation, and cybersecurity, positioning the District as an industry leader despite its smaller size. Earlier experience includes serving as a Technical Program Manager at Dimension4, where Ian led innovative solutions for the automation of utility infrastructure mapping. Educational qualifications include an MBA with honors from the University of Nevada, Reno, an MSc with distinction in Information Systems from The Manchester Metropolitan University, and a BA from Simon Fraser University, supplemented by a postgraduate certificate in GIS.
