Steven Wickel

Steven Wickel is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Transmission Engineering Manager at Chelan County PUD since August 2012, overseeing multidisciplinary engineering functions related to power system operations, including transmission line and substation design, protection systems, and NERC compliance. Previously, Steven worked as a System Protection and Control Engineer at Bonneville Power Administration, focusing on protection systems for high voltage transmission. Prior roles include Reliability Engineer and Maintenance Supervisor at Kaiser Aluminum, where certification in vibration analysis was obtained, and serving as a Nuclear Engineer in the US Navy, managing operations and maintenance of a nuclear power plant. Steven holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and completed the Navy Nuclear Power School.
