Ruben Sammut

Ruben Sammut currently serves as the Senior Scout & Academy AI Scout Coordinator at Chelsea Football Club, a position held since May 2023, focusing on first-team scouting and developing an AI scouting platform. Prior experience includes serving as the 1st Team Recruitment Coordinator at Charlton Athletic Football Club from February 2021 to May 2023, where coordination of a team of scouts and the creation of an automated scouting system were key responsibilities. Ruben also gained valuable experience as an Academy Scout/Recruitment Analyst intern at Chelsea and has played professionally for several clubs, including Sunderland AFC and Dulwich Hamlet Football Club. Ruben's football education began at Chelsea Football Academy and continued through Maidstone Grammar School.
