Cara Sennott began their work experience in 2012 as a Party Leader in Training at What's Cooking New York, where they assisted in preparing for, leading, and cleaning up after cooking themed birthday parties for children. In 2013, they became a Lead Preschool Teacher at Chelsea Piers. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Camp Counselor at Peacock Players, where they planned and implemented daily activities for groups of children, wrote and directed musical showcases, and maintained open communication with parents through newsletters.
Cara Sennott completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Dual Early Childhood & Childhood Education; English Creative Writing and Literature from Hofstra University, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. Following that, from 2013 to 2016, they pursued a Master's degree in Literacy from Teachers College, Columbia University.
