D. Michael Bruno has a strong background in facility management and operations. D. Michael began their career as an intern at the Beverly Athletic Club in 2011, where they gained experience in the field. D. Michael then continued their internship at the same club later that year. In 2012, Bruno joined Chelsea Piers as a Field House Operations Manager. Prior to this, they held maintenance roles at Darien High School Facility Management and Middlesex Swim & Tennis Club. Bruno also interned at the Darien YMCA and worked as an Assistant Trainer at American Athletes. Throughout their work experience, Bruno has developed expertise in facility management, operations, and maintenance.

Michael then pursued their Bachelor's Degree of Science in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management at Endicott College from 2008 to 2012. In addition, they also achieved a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the same institution during the same time period.
