Sophia Casale

Sophia Casale currently serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at UMass Boston, working with both the LTSS Center and the Center for Social and Demographic Research on Aging since September 2024. Previously, as a Project Coordinator at Gray Panthers NYC from September 2023 to August 2024, Sophia managed project communications and conducted outreach activities to promote virtual events. Sophia's experience also includes working as a Memory Care Assistant Lifestylist at Mira Vie Tinton Falls from September 2019 to August 2024, where responsibilities included tracking resident preferences to create tailored activity plans for individuals with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementia. In addition, Sophia was a Care Manager Assistant at Hackensack Meridian Health for a brief period in early 2019, focusing on communication and patient support while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Sophia holds a Master’s of Science in Gerontology from UMass Boston and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health from Stockton University.
