Ellen Fackler-Smith, SHRM-CP, is a seasoned HR professional specializing in organizational culture and leadership development. Currently serving as the Global HR Business Partner Manager at Chem-Trend since May 2018, Ellen champions a safety-first culture and provides coaching and consulting to organizational leaders on leadership best practices and legal compliance. Previous experience includes roles as a Global Human Resources Business Partner and Generalist at Chem-Trend, as well as Human Resources Generalist at Detroit Public Television, where responsibilities encompassed policy development, recruitment, and training. Earlier positions included Professional Development Specialist at Meadowbrook Insurance Group, Inc., and Training Specialist at Kmart Corporation. Ellen holds a Master’s Degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Studies from Western Michigan University.
