Charif Lahyani

Charif Lahyani has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in different companies. Charif began their career as an electronics engineering technician at Sanmina from April 2015 to March 2017. Charif then joined BOMBARDIER as a test technician from February 2016 to May 2019. Charif worked at Clearpath Inc. as a Systems Integration Technologist (co-op) from September 2019 to March 2020, where they analyzed, designed, programmed, debugged, and modified software. Currently, Charif is the CEO/founder of RS binary solutions, a position they have held since May 2020. Additionally, they are an Embedded Software Engineer at ChemChamp, starting in October 2022.

Charif Lahyani's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled at the University of Sunderland and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Computing, which they completed in 2010. After a few years, in 2015, they attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology and obtained a College diploma in EME-Robotics, graduating in 2017.

In 2019, Charif Lahyani joined Conestoga College, where they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Embedded Systems Development, which they completed in 2021. To further enhance their skills, Charif Lahyani attended Lighthouse Labs in 2022 and earned a Diploma of Education in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism.

In the same year, Charif Lahyani also pursued certification from the Telecommunications Certification Organization, becoming a Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS) in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Wireless Analyst certification from the Telecom Training Institute.

Outside of their formal education, Charif Lahyani has obtained several certifications. Charif completed self-paced training in Certified Cybersecurity (CC) through the ISC2 Ottawa Chapter in May 2023. Charif also obtained certifications in Leveraging Cloud Computing for IoT, IoT Foundations: Fundamentals, Unix Essential Training, Ethical Hacking: Introduction to Ethical Hacking, and Programming Foundations: Fundamentals, all from LinkedIn. Finally, Charif Lahyani became an (ISC)² Candidate in March 2023 through the (ISC)² institution.
