Carlos Guilarte

Carlos Guilarte has a long history of work experience in the software development industry. Starting in 1988, they worked as a Software Engineer at The Nickel Company where they designed, developed, and managed software projects for clients using Clipper. In 1990, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the Regional Studies Group at Constructions Company, where they designed and programmed more than 300 modular applications and designed new application modules for Image Recognition and Image Processing. From 1999 to 2015, they worked as a Principal Software Developer at Habaguanex S.A., where they developed from conception to completion several Windows applications for Inventory Control, Purchases, Retail Sales, Accounting, and Financial Analysis using C#, Visual FoxPro and MS SQL Server, and designed, developed and implemented a POS application for a company with more than 300 locations. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an IT Solutions Developer at TechXMart LLC, where they evaluated user requests and modified existing or created new programs, solved programming problems, planned, developed and tested new hardware and software, and implemented new database systems and user interfaces. Most recently, from 2017 to present, they have been working as an Information Systems Manager at Chemco Corp, where they have been managing and configuring Domain Server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP services in Windows Server 2019 using Microsoft Asure, managing and configuring Exchange e-mail server using Office 365 and Microsoft Asure, and configuring and maintaining Accounting system using Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions - Manufacturing and Wholesale 2020.

Carlos Guilarte has a long and varied educational history. In 2014, they took various courses for certifications at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers of South Florida in the field of Information Technology. In 2004, they completed a .Net Framework course at Center of Overcoming and IT Training (CENSAI) in the same field. Between 1995 and 1997, they obtained a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics to Image Processing from Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana "José Antonio Echeverría", CUJAE. From 1983 to 1988, they studied Management Information Systems, General and Systems Engineering, also at the same university, and received a Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained a CompTIA A+ certification.
