Maira V.

Maira V. has extensive work experience in the field of supply chain/purchasing management. Maira is currently employed as a Supply Chain/Purchasing Manager at Chemco Corp, a position they began in 2022. Previously, they held various roles at Florida Atlantic University from 2014 to 2022, including Adjunct Faculty (temp. contract), Graduate Teaching/Research Assistant, Math Tutor (Computer Lab Supervisor), and Math Tutor.

Maira V. has a diverse educational history. Maira began their studies in 1986 at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Maira then moved to Universidade Católica de Salvador, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology in 1992. After this, they attended Universidade Federal de Pernambuco again, this time earning a Bachelor's degree in Law in 2003. In 2012, Maira V. returned to academia, enrolling at Florida Atlantic University and earning a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 2014. Maira then continued their studies at Florida Atlantic University, earning a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics with a track in Cryptology in 2020, and is currently a PhD candidate in Mathematics - Cryptology.
