Rene Spakman

Rene Spakman has extensive work experience in the maritime and oil industry. Starting in 1984, they worked in the merchant navy as an AB/2nd engineer. Rene then worked as an engineer boilerhouse on DE Eendracht from 1993 to 1999. From 1999 to 2004, they served as a chief engineer at naviglobe. Rene joined pride ensco in 2004 as a technical coordinator and stayed there until 2011. Rene Spakman then worked at Odebrecht as a maintenance coordinator from 2011 to 2017. Rene joined DEME Group in 2017 as a Chief Engineer until 2019. Currently, Rene Spakman is serving as chief engineer at Chemgas Shipping BV since 2020.

Rene Spakman attended Abel Tasman Maritime Academy from 1984 to 1987, where they pursued a degree in merchant engineering, specializing in chief engineering for all types of ships.
