David Jégou

David Johnson is a highly experienced engineering professional with a robust background in software development and technology leadership. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Coalesce.io since February 2023, David specializes in developing APIs, CLI tools, and backend software. Previously, David founded and led Lanson Labs LLC multiple times, architecting the Aptos ONE platform for retail applications and managing software engineering for various clients. As Co-Founder and CTO of SkillStore, Inc., David drove the development of a SaaS solution for soft-skills training. Early career highlights include serving as CTO at Mocapay, where David facilitated mobile payment innovations, and as Director of Technology at StorePerform Technologies, contributing significantly to product development. David's foundational experience as a Program Manager/Software Development Engineer at Microsoft included key roles in the Microsoft Exchange Server team. David holds a BSEE in Digital Electronics/Software from Virginia Tech.
