Claire Wai

Claire Wai is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and reporting. Currently serving as the Financial Reporting Lead at Chemist Warehouse since November 2025, Claire has previously held key positions including Financial Controller (Rest of World) and Corporate Reporting Manager at PolyNovo Limited from October 2023 to September 2025. Prior roles include Head of Corporate Finance and Tax, Manager - Group Tax and Financial Reporting, and Financial Accountant at iSelect from February 2016 to June 2023. Claire began her career at BDO in Australia as a Manager from August 2012 to January 2016. Claire holds a Master of Forensic Accounting with distinction from the University of Wollongong, a Master of Commerce from Macquarie University, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle.
