Tim Van Brugge began their work experience in 1990 as the Managing Director of Van Brugge House, a joint venture between the van Brugge Family and All Nippon Airways. Tim was responsible for operating jewelry and duty-free outlets in Australia, the United States, and Japan. In 1999, Tim founded and served as the CEO of i-do.com.au, an Australian website that introduced the internet to local businesses. Tim held this position until 2013. In 2015, Tim founded Open Giving. In 2016, they joined Tonic Health Media as the Digital Strategy, where they developed and executed a strategy for the creation of Tonic's digital network. This network has grown to reach over 12 million Australian users monthly, enabling new business opportunities for Tonic, including the launch of Chemist2U in 2020. Since 2019, Tim has been the Head of Product and Strategy at Chemist2U Australia.
Tim Van Brugge attended Sydney Grammar School from 1975 to 1987. During this time, they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any specific field of study. Later on, in 1993 to 1994, Tim studied at the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and earned a degree as a Graduate Gemologist, specializing in Gemology.
