Currently the senior vice president of the Human Resources Division, Mina Day has more than 20 years of development experience and a human-centered management approach designing and leading cross-departmental activities in home-office and field-office settings. Mina’s entry into international development started in Serbia and Kosovo while working on emergency and transition programming. Later, as home-office manager, she managed teams and conducted short and long-term assignments across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. In her most recent field assignment, Mina served as the chief of party for the USAID Community Engagement Project in Jordan. Prior to joining Chemonics, she worked for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, International Rescue Committee, the UN Development Programme, and Global Communities. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago.
