Raisah Khan

Raisah Khan currently serves as an Operations Coordinator & Project Management Associate at Chemonics International, focusing on operations within the Europe & Eurasia Division since August 2024. Previously, Raisah was a Student Fellow at the Emma Bowen Foundation, where participation was secured in a competitive media and journalism internship program. Raisah conducted research as a Political Economy Honors Thesis Student at UC Berkeley, examining economic opportunities for Rohingya refugee women in Bangladesh. Additional experiences include roles as a Chess Instructor at the Berkeley Chess School, Student Facilitator for a course on the History of Free Speech at Berkeley, and various leadership positions with The Berkeley Forum, including President and Vice President of Events, where initiatives were implemented to enhance non-partisan discourse on campus. Raisah also held internships in audience development at India Currents and SEO marketing at Rocket Lawyer. Raisah's academic background includes pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Economy at UC Berkeley and prior education at Mission College and Irvington High School.
