Charles R. Yang

Charles R. Yang has extensive work experience in the field of neuroscience and pharmacology. From 1993 to 1998, they worked as an Assistant Professor at The University of British Columbia, where they headed in vitro and in vivo electrophysiology labs and conducted research on ion channels and dopamine receptor pharmacology. From 1998 to 2010, they joined Eli Lilly & Co. as a Principal Research Scientist, where they focused on synaptic transmission, epilepsy, cognitive enhancers, and central control of feeding pharmacology. Since 2010, they have been associated with Shanghai Chempartner Co Ltd., initially as an Executive Director and later as Vice President of Biology. In these roles, they have been involved in neuroscience research, specifically in CNS pharmacology and ion channels.

Charles R. Yang completed their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physiology (Neurophysiology) from The University of Western Ontario.
