Raj Malusare has a strong background in instrumentation engineering with over 30 years of experience. Raj started their career as a student at the College of Engineering Pune from 1980 to 1983. Raj then worked as an Instrument Engineer at Taylor Instrument company India Limited from 1983 to 1986. Raj then joined Chemtex Engineering of India Ltd as a Senior Engineer / Deputy Manager - Instrumentation from 1986 to 1994. Raj continued their career at Allied Fibers Ltd as a Manager - Instrumentation from 1994 to 1996. Raj returned to Chemtex Engineering of India Ltd from 1996 to 2000 as a Chief Engineer. Raj then held the position of Chief Engineer & HOD - Instrumentation at Chemtex from 2006 to 2009, and later at Chemtex Global Engg Pvt Ltd from 2007 to 2013. Raj joined Burns & McDonnell in 2013 as a Chief Engineer and HOD - Instrumentation and Control. Raj currently serves as the Deputy General Manager - Instrumentation at Burns and McDonnell India since 2017.

Raj Malusare completed their primary education at New English School in Satara, Maharashtra from 1971 to 1975, where they focused on Mathematics and Science. Raj then attended Science College Satara from 1975 to 1979, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Physics. Following this, they attended COEP Technological University from 1980 to 1983, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering. In January 2019, Raj Malusare obtained a certification in Creativity Bootcamp from LinkedIn.
