Rob Best

Rob Best, PE, M.ASCE, currently serves as the Orlando Office Leader and Principal Engineer at Chen Moore and Associates since October 2019, focusing on consulting, business development, and management in utilities, transportation, and land/site development across Florida. Prior roles include Senior Engineer at OM Engineering Services, where expertise in utilities and transportation consulting was applied, and Project Manager and Project Engineer at Jones Edmunds & Associates, providing water and wastewater consulting services statewide. With initial engineering experience at Coler & Colantonio, and MassDOT, Rob Best began a career in design as a CAD Operator/Designer at Thompson Consultants. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering, both from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
