At CHENDESIGNS, we take pride in crafting interiors that are chic yet comfortable, timeless yet unexpected. Our passion lies in creating story-driven environments that balance quiet romance with functional clarity, ensuring every space feels both sophisticated and lived-in. Based in Los Angeles, our boutique luxury studio is driven by curiosity, a refined eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence.

We specialize in bespoke residential interiors where natural materials meet elevated detailing. CHENDESIGNS is client-first and relationship-driven: every project begins with deep listening, thoughtful problem-solving, and clear direction. Our signature aesthetic blends French Modern and Art Deco influences with rich texture and carefully curated vintage furniture, resulting in homes that feel collected rather than decorated.

Founded by Annie Chen, the studio brings a global perspective to the Southern California design landscape. Born in Taipei and raised in Toronto, Annie’s work is shaped by her multicultural heritage and her training at world-renowned AD100 firms Kelly Wearstler and Yabu Pushelberg, bridging large-scale luxury standards with the intimate, personal touch required for private sanctuaries.

As an Asian-owned studio, we offer a seamless multicultural experience. Annie is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese. Beyond aesthetics, the studio integrates a modern approach to Feng Shui and spatial psychology to support flow, well-being, and daily rhythm, without sacrificing personal style.

Recent projects include bespoke residential work across Los Angeles and Orange. We accept projects nationwide and worldwide, and are available to travel for the right fit.

Let's create something with intention together.
