April Eichelberger

April Eichelberger, MPH, BSN, RN, is an experienced IT Governance Analyst at Chenega Corporation, specializing in technical expertise and policy compliance in support of CDC/OPHDST. Prior roles include Strategic Partnership/Public Health Analyst and Project Manager within the Chenega Professional Services Strategic Business Unit, where April focused on partnership development and project oversight for the CDC. Previous experience includes work as a Health Promotion Specialist at Optum, Project Manager for the Rhode Island Department of Health during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Public Health Analyst at Cadeuseus. An Epidemiologist for the West Africa AIDS Foundation, April conducted research on medication noncompliance among PLHIV MSM. April's nursing background includes serving as a Registered Nurse in infectious disease at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health degree from Walden University, April also holds a Master of Public Health in Global Health from Liberty University.
