Sara Saxena

Sara Saxena, P.E. is a seasoned professional in process safety and risk management, currently serving in the Corporate Process Safety role at Cheniere Energy, Inc. since March 2024. Prior to this position, Sara held the title of Corporate Process Safety & Risk at Western Midstream from April 2021 to March 2024, where responsibilities included managing all technical risk and process safety functions for the corporation while reporting directly to the CEO. With extensive experience at BP from May 2006 to January 2021, Sara contributed as the Safety Engineering Lead, ensuring top-tier safety for significant offshore projects, and also managed the PSM and RMP programs for North American Gas facilities. Sara holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University.
