Len Scarpinato

Len Scarpinato, DO, MS, serves as the National Director of Clinical Effectiveness and Chief Medical Officer of Hospital and Community Care at ChenMed since November 2013. In this role, Len oversees the medical and clinical operations across a five-clinic division, collaborates with the President on market initiatives, and manages the care of 6,000 patients. Previously held positions at CogentHMG included Chief Implementation Officer and Chief Medical Officer for the Clinical Development and Northern Central Region, where Len expanded the Traveling Hospitalist program and directed implementation processes nationwide. Len holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, a Master’s in Administrative Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia Engineering.
