Sophie Parker

Sophie Parker, MD, FACC, RPVI has an extensive work history in the field of cardiology. Sophie began their career at Guthrie in 1998 as a Cardiologist and then moved on to Eastern Carolina Cardiovasc PA-EC Offic and CAC, Fort Norfolk Plaza cardiology. Dr. Parker then worked at Integrative Cardiovascular Institute as a Physician before joining Jencare Neighborhood Medical Center as a Cardiologist and later as the Medical Director at Jencare Neighborhood Medical Virginia Beach, LLC. Sophie also served as the Chief Medical Officer at ChenMed, where they expanded Dedicated Senior medical center to greater Philadelphia regions and managed five value-based primary care practices. Currently, Dr. Parker serves as the Regional Director of Cardiovascular care at ChenMed, overseeing the growth and management of cardiac and podiatry teams across multiple markets.

Sophie Parker completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at Government Kilpauk Medical College from 1977 to 1994. Sophie then pursued an Internal Medicine residency at Robert Packer Hospital from 1992 to 1995, followed by a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship program at the same institution from 1995 to 1998. Prior to their medical education, they completed a Pre-med program at Ethiraj College For Women.
