Jala Shikhaliyeva

Jala Shikhaliyeva currently serves as the Director of Sales at Chenot Palace Gabala since August 2025. Prior to this role, Jala held the position of Assistant Director of Sales for Corporate at Absheron Hotel Group from July 2022 to August 2025, where responsibilities included leading the corporate sales strategy across multiple properties and developing a sales team. Jala also has experience as a Senior Sales Manager at Hilton Baku and as an Assistant Group, Conference and Events Sales Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Baku. Additional experience includes serving as a Sales Executive with Absheron Hotel Group and as a Cluster Groups and Events Sales Coordinator. Jala began a career in hospitality as a Guest Service Agent at Boulevard Hotel Baku Authograph Collection. Educationally, Jala holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Eastern Mediterranean University, completed between 2012 and 2016.
